Summary:
The AR Collection Team Lead is accountable for managing the end-to-end collection process, managing and developing the team, and building strong relationships with our commercial stakeholders. They will drive a culture of growth, data-driven performance management, and improvement, with a relentless focus on service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Operational Delivery: Coordinate and supervise day-to-day prioritization of tasks, balancing workload across the team while aligning the correct workload to the correct skillset.
- Performance Management : Drive team members and process performance through data-driven insights and team engagement.
- Stakeholder Management : Provide clear, concise, and regular updates to all identified internal and external stakeholders and leadership.
- Escalation Management : Monitor team performance in handling escalations and provide coaching to improve proficiency.
- Risk, Compliance & Controls: Maintain controls and procedures of the AR Collection process.
Position requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in a GBS or BPO.
- Expert knowledge of end-to-end invoice-to-cash processes and related accounting.
- Experience in resource planning, scheduling, and workflow management
- Experience managing a collection team and driving performance against KPIs.
- Proven ability to coach, develop, and motivate people.
- Stakeholder management experience at the operational level.
- Experience with ERP systems: SAP is a must.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or any other equivalent training - desirable but not essential.
